Printed Atrium Wall
A double-height entry wall printed in registered panels, installed as the final move of a remodel.
The Brief
A finished entry hall with nothing to look at and no wall strong enough to hang serious art. The owners asked for artwork that was part of the architecture rather than hung on it.
The Design
We worked from the owners' own reference imagery and proofed at full scale on offcuts of the actual substrate, because colour behaves differently on primed drywall than it does on a screen.
The Build
The wall was skimmed and primed to a Level 5 finish first. Printing onto an imperfect substrate shows every defect, so the preparation is most of the job.
The Finish
UV direct-to-surface print in four registered panels with a matte protective layer, installed in one day by our own crew.
